Quick Garden Pizza (ode to kim)

  • 1/2 c flour 
  • 1 tsp yeast
  • 1/2 tsp sugar 
  • 1/4 c water
  • fresh mixed variety of tomatoes- sliced or chopped
  • 3 garlic cloves- chopped fine
  • parmesan cheese -- i like the cheap stuff on this one
  • basil
  • 3 to 5 swiss chard leaves sliced thin
  • 1/2 onion sliced thin
  • feta-as much as you want
  • 1/2 tomato sliced thin

For Dough:

Combine dry ingredients. Add water and stir then knead well to very soft dough using additional water or flour if needed. Put in lightly oiled bowl, cover and let double.  Punch down and put press dough out as thin or thick as you wish on an oiled sheet.

Tomato Garlic Basil Pie:

oil dough on top

spread chopped garlic

add chopped tomatoes 

top with parmesan cheese 

add basil (or wait till pie comes out of the oven and add it fresh)

(be careful! the tomatoes can burn ya!)


Swiss Chard Onion Feta Pie:

wilt swiss chard in water

sauteed onions lightly in olive oil

oil dough on top

put onions down 

then chard

top with feta

decorate with sliced tomatoes


To Cook:

Bake for 5 to 12 min based on your toppings and dough thickness.
