Snow and Ice
by Amber Reddinger
Just some random winter pictures from the last few storms.
We had snow.
And ice.
Coreopsis in the snow:
And a few days later, encased in ice:
My neighbors' oregano looked so pretty in the snow.
And my rosemary looked, well, icy in the ice.
Rudbeckia in the snow.
And the branches of my neighbors' pear tree in ice.
Icy Ostrich Fern.
And icy Japanese Maple.
Icy juniper.
Icy clematis and trellis.
And my favorites, icy zebra grass,
and icy grapevine.
It's been a lovely winter so far. Not too cold and not an unmanageable amount of snow. Even the ice wasn't bad enough to do any damage at my house, but enough to look pretty. Let's hope things carry on this way until spring. :)
